DESCRIPTION:\nAttorney J. Michael Morgan will provide an overview of the Washington Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act. He will address its legislative history, the scope of the law, and it's application to particular disputes.\n \nBACKGROUND:\n \nAfter receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree from Seattle University in 1980, Mike worked as a diagnostic medical ultrasound technologist and served as a clinical instructor in various hospitals in the United States and Saudi Arabia.  Since receiving his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University School of Law) in 1988, he has prosecuted and defended civil litigation in nearly every county in Washington as well as the Federal Court for the Western District of Washington.  From 1999 to 2005 he served as in-house trial counsel for Safeco Insurance Company where he defended cases involving serious injury and death, property damage, construction defects, professional malpractice and other tort claims. He currently practices law at Worth Law Group, P.S. in Olympia, WA.\n \nHe also regularly serves as arbitrator and mediator\n
